I chose to go into OT because I love to help others reach their fullest potential. I was initially inspired while working in the public school system to work with students and saw first hand the benefit of OT in their success in school. On a more personal level, my dad had a CVA right before I began my schooling, and my mother in law was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. I have seen the benefits of OT in their journeys, and the benefit of OT truly in every aspect of life. I hope to continue on with my OT education and career, while making an impact with all I meet along the way.
